Mac learned something that he didn't know.
Pyramids are made of blocks of stone that are HUGE! The first time we saw a pyramid, it was the step pyramid at Sakkara. That pyramid looks like a gigantic layered wedding cake. Each level is smaller than the last one, so that it looks like giant steps.
But the blocks aren't square! Most of them are more like puzzle pieces, which interlock. In the photos you can see Mac, sitting on one of the small stones we saw, making up a wall.
For the big pyramids at Giza, the builders made huge ramps, sloping up and up, for the workers to slide the huge blocks up to the top. To help them slide, the use milk, pouring it on the wood of the ramp to help it be a bit slippery, and reduce friction. The milk has milk fat in it (which makes up into butter!) and the fat 'greased' the ramp. Mac was thinking it might have been fun to chew on those ramps, once the workers were done. Wood soaked in milk just might taste like a milk-bone!
